About my Practice

For over a decade, I’ve helped adults and couples navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, and questions of meaning, identity, or spirituality. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck, disconnected, or weighed down by patterns that no longer serve them. My approach is relational, depth-oriented, and trauma-informed, with a strong grounding in evidence-based care.

I draw from modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Jungian psychology, and Hakomi. These approaches support clients in exploring unconscious patterns, building emotional awareness, and creating lasting change in how they relate to themselves and others.

I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago and began my career in community mental health before working at the Palo Alto VA Medical Center, where I supported veterans facing trauma, addiction, and major life transitions. I now practice at the Wise Mind Institute, a group practice dedicated to integrative, evidence-based care.

Outside of my clinical training, my path has been shaped by Insight Meditation, dance, and outdoor leadership. I believe healing isn’t about fixing something broken, it’s about reconnecting with parts of yourself that have always been there. If you're looking for a space to explore what feels meaningful in your life, I welcome the opportunity to walk alongside you.

An Invitation

Our work together will help you move toward living from your values, rather than being driven by fear. We’ll build your capacity to meet life with more choice, courage, and wisdom. As you grow more attuned to your body’s signals and your internal landscape, you’ll begin to respond, not just react, to what life brings. This is not passive work. It’s an active process of exploring what’s been buried, making space for new experiences, and practicing new ways of relating to yourself and others.

For many people, these struggles have roots in early relationships and experiences, times when important needs for safety, connection, or understanding weren’t fully met. When these patterns begin in childhood and repeat over time, they can leave lasting imprints on how we see ourselves, how we relate to others, and how we handle stress and emotions. This can show up as chronic self-doubt, emotional numbness, difficulties with intimacy, or a persistent sense of disconnection. Therapy offers a safe space to explore these patterns, whether individually or as a couple.

If you’re ready to start this journey, alone or with your partner, I invite you to reach out for a free consultation.

THERAPY (KAP)

Individual therapy with me is a space for exploration, healing, and growth. My approach is rooted in somatic and psychodynamic work, helping you uncover and process unconscious patterns that shape your emotions, relationships, and sense of self.

At the heart of every relationship is the longing for connection. But sometimes, old wounds, fears, and patterns of disconnection get in the way. Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a research-based approach that helps partners identify and heal the core emotional patterns that create distance, conflict, or insecurity.

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a unique therapeutic approach that combines the use of ketamine, a rapid-acting medication with antidepressant properties, with psychotherapy to facilitate deeper emotional processing and insight.
